Billie M.'s Story
Funeral services for Mrs. Billie M. Lee will be conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Milledgeville. The service will take place immediately following. Interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lee, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin in Ducktown, TN. She was 92-years-old and a long-standing member of Friendship Baptist Church at Lake Sinclair. She had an unwavering faith in the Lord. A loving, caring mother and homemaker, Billie was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She lived a really full life, filled with God, family, friends and her special pets, Midget and Frankie.
Mrs. Lee was born on Feb. 28, 1925 in Sylvania, GA (Screven County). Her parents were Turner M. Mock and Eva Brant Mock. She was the youngest of 10 children and is survived by her sister, Earline Holland of Statesboro. She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Lee and her children, Linda Bachna, Johnny Lee, and Judy Davis.
She leaves behind her loving family, Jimmy (Kathy) Lee of Epworth, Janice (Fred) Bachna of Milledgeville, Joe (Leigh) Lee of Macon; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and her loving dog, "Midget".
