Andrew Therance's Story
Andrew Therance Mobley, 51, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec, 8, at Snow Hill Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Phillip Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Mobley was born and raised in Dublin but had made his home in Gordon for over 20 years. He worked as an independent truck driver before attending and graduating from Georgia College, earning his B.A. Degree in Accounting. He worked as an accountant with Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Martha Louise Wright Mobley; siblings, Glenn Mobley, Michael and Tim Cherry. He was a member of Snow Hill Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Doke Mobley of Gordon; his daughter, Brittany Louise Mobley of Darien; two sons, William Andrew Mobley and Thomas Michael Mobley both of Gordon; grandchildren, Rileigh O'Quinn, Peyton O'Quinn and Ayden Jowers; his second family, mother, Laylene Cherry of Dublin; sister, Brenda Lumley (Louis) of Dublin and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
